How long does it take to get the puzzle?

We will normally ship your puzzle within 5 days of receiving your picture and payment. You should receive the puzzle in 7-10 business days. Of course, it can be done faster, and you can let us know if you're in a hurry. (We don't charge extra for that!)

What do you mean when you ask if my picture is copyrighted?

Professional photographers have copyrights on their work. Making a puzzle from their pictures without their written copyright release would be illegal! (So we don't do it!) Therefore, senior pictures and other professional photos can't be used without the professional photographer's permission. Otherwise, you must use your own personal photos/snapshots.

How do I obtain a copyright release from a photographer?

If you click on the "Copyright Release" button in the left margin, you will go to the copyright release form. You can print the form and take it to your photographer to obtain the release.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept credit card payment from PayPal, personal checks, and money orders. PayPal and money order payments allow us to ship faster, since we do wait for personal checks to clear.

What is PayPal?

PayPal is a big and reputable company that processes credit cards for individuals and small businesses. In order to use the service as a consumer, you sign up with PayPal and give them your credit card number. Your account with them is free. (They make their money from businesses like us!) You tell them when you want to buy something, and they will credit the seller with the money. They can pay anyone with an e-mail address. This payment form is very popular for auctions and small businesses, because the customer can pay a stranger with a credit card without giving out their credit card number to someone who is virtually unknown. Only PayPal sees your credit card number. Therefore, even though it takes 5-10 minutes to set up a PayPal account, we think it's worth the security!

Can my puzzle order be rushed?

We will do our best to help you in an emergency, and can usually make the puzzle that day and ship it the next if you request so. We will certainly let you know if there's some reason we can't. We don't charge extra if you're in a hurry.

Do you crop/enhance photos?

In order to size the photo to 8 1/2" x 11", we may do some minor cropping. If you want the picture cropped in a specific way, please let us know when you send the picture.

If I send you my snapshot, will I get it back?

Yes. We return it in the box with your puzzle. If it's too large to fit, we'll send it in a separate envelope.

What kind of snapshot works best?

Light-colored or bright pictures work better than dark ones; although darker background do work. Also, since most snapshots aren't in direct proportion to the 8.5" x 11" enlargement, some cropping takes place. Therefore, it's best if your subject doesn't go all the way to the edges of the photograph. We do notify you before printing if any problems with cropping occur. (They can usually be remedied by adding a white border.)

I want to order, but I'm not sure about the total. Can you send me the total via email before I order?

Of course! We are happy to answer any questions you may have via email, and to calculate your total based on exactly what you want. After you are sure about what you want and how much it will cost, you can use the online order form, or we can even complete it for you.
